Terms

Terms of service.

The agreement between your business and Apron when you use Apron Kitchen, Apron Retail, Apron Salon, Apron Gym or any other Apron app.

Last updated 29 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Apron is run by Greeshma R Sindhe, sole proprietor, trading as Apron (GSTIN 29BTRPG0346N2Z3), 1/3-2, A Cross Road, Pipeline, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka 560003 ("Apron", "we", "us"). "You" means the business that opens an Apron account, and the people it lets use that account.

2. The service

Apron is software for running a business: billing, stock, kitchen, appointments, staff, reports and the features shown in the app. We may add, change or remove features. We will tell you in the app or by email before removing a feature you pay for.

3. Your account

  • You must give true details and keep sign-in details private. You are responsible for what your staff do in your account and for the roles you give them.
  • The person who opens the account must be able to agree to these terms for the business.
  • Tell us at once at support@theapron.in if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Plans and payment

  • A new business gets a free trial with all features for 14 days. After the trial you need a paid plan to keep using the service.
  • Fees are those shown on our pricing page or in the app when you subscribe, plus GST. We send a GST invoice for every payment.
  • Plans renew for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it or we say otherwise in writing.
  • We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change. It applies from your next renewal.
  • If a payment fails, we may limit the account to viewing and downloading your data until it is paid.

5. Your data

  • The data you put into Apron (your bills, products, customers, staff and so on) belongs to you. We use it only to run the service for you, to keep it safe, and as the law requires. Our privacy policy explains how.
  • You are responsible for having the right to keep your customers' and staff's personal data, and for your own GST filings and tax records. Apron's reports help you file; they do not replace your accountant.
  • You can download your data at any time while your account is open, and for 90 days after it closes.

6. Marketplaces, payment gateways and other services

You may connect your own accounts with other services: Amazon, Flipkart, Razorpay, Cashfree, Paytm, WhatsApp, an AI provider and others shown in the app. Those services are run by their own companies, under your agreement with them. Apron is not a party to your sales on a marketplace or your payments through a gateway, and is not responsible for their fees, rules, outages or decisions about your account. You can disconnect any of them in Apron at any time.

7. Fair use

Do not use Apron to break the law, send spam, sell banned goods, attack or overload the service, copy or resell it, or reach data that is not yours. We may suspend an account that does, after telling you why, or at once if there is a risk to other users.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep Apron running and back up data every hour, but the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Apron keeps working offline for billing where the app says so, and syncs when the connection returns. Support is by email at support@theapron.in and in the app.

9. AI features

AI features draft text and explain figures. They can be wrong, so check their output before you rely on it. Where an AI feature uses your own AI provider key, that provider's terms apply to what is sent to it.

10. Our software

Apron's software, design and brand belong to us. You get the right to use the service while your account is active, for your own business.

11. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost business, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Ending the service

You can close your account at any time from the app or by writing to us. We may end the service with 30 days' notice, or at once for a serious breach of these terms. Either way you can download your data for 90 days after the account closes.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Write to us first and we will try to settle any dispute within 30 days. If we cannot, the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. For a change that affects you significantly, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before it applies.
